Prahran East Medical Centre has been serving the local community for over 50 years. We are a family-owned practice, providing expert and holistic General Practice health care with compassion and integrity.

 

Our GPs have post-graduate FRACGP qualifications, with experience and skills in all aspects of family medicine. We have special expertise in women’s and men’s health, child health, dermatology, mole checks and skin cancer surgery, accident & emergency, antenatal care, travel medicine, internal medicine and minor surgery.

 

The practice is accredited by AGPAL and is supported by two registered nurses, onsite physiotherapy, psychology and pathology collection, with a neighbouring pharmacy. 

 

Rigorous continuing education through research, education programs, IT and our university collaboration ensures our doctors stay fully abreast of the rapid changes in medical science.

 

We welcome people from all minority groups, including migrants, First Nations people and our LGBTQIA+ community. Phone Interpreters and the National Relay Service are available upon request.

 

We're also an accredited teaching practice, training the doctors of tomorrow from the University of Melbourne.
