Our doctors are all locally trained to the highest standard, with post-graduate General Practice qualifications. We happily assist in all aspects of family medicine.

​

We also have special expertise in women’s and men’s health, child health, dermatology and skin cancer, antenatal care, travel advice, internal medicine, sports injuries and minor surgery.

​

Experienced and friendly in-house physiotherapists and a podiatrist complement the services offered by our medical team.

 

The practice is supported by registered nurses and friendly, efficient administrative staff.

Dr Tiro Othomile

MBBS FRACGP

 

CONSULTS Wednesdays, Fridays & occasional Saturday. (Starts Dec 18).

 

Tiro completed medical school at Monash University in 2013, after which he spent time at various hospitals in Victoria. He then undertook general practice training, completing in 2018, and has since been working as a GP in Melbourne.

 

Tiro is passionate about all areas of general practice, with particular interest in preventative medicine and chronic diseases, including heart diseases, diabetes, respiratory illnesses and men's health. He enjoys minor procedures such as mole excisions and ingrown toenail surgery. Tiro has a calm demeanour and is a very good listener, most importantly willing to work with you to reach your health goals.

Dr Bianca Webb-Pullman

MBBS FRACGP

 

CONSULTS Tuesdays.

 

Bianca graduated from The University of Queensland in 2001 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She worked in hospitals in Queensland and the UK before obtaining Fellowship of the RACGP in the Northern Territory in 2009.  She spent several years working in her home country of New Zealand before moving to Melbourne in 2022. 

 

Bianca enjoys treating patients of all ages, and has particular interests in women’s health, sexual health and mental health.  She is a prescriber of medicinal cannabis, and has found it a useful tool in managing conditions such as chronic pain, anxiety and migraine, which have not responded well to first-line treatments.

Dr Nigel Murray

MBBS, FRACGP, FARGP, JCCA

Dr Murray has worked in general practice for nearly 25 years. He graduated from Monash University in 1997 and completed his fellowship in Rural general practice in 2003. He underwent training in anaesthesia at Lismore Base Hospital and has provided anaesthesia services to country areas in North East Victoria and Southern NSW since 2004.

 

He is a long term provider of emergency medicine to rural emergency departments and has worked for the Alice Springs Hospital as part of their medical retrieval team. He continues to provide locum emergency, anaesthesia and internal medicine services to Corowa Hospital. In 2020 Dr Murray moved to Melbourne with his partner who is also in the medical field. He has adjusted to city life and works in general practice as well as providing anaesthesia services to MSI Australia.

​

Dr Murray has particular interests in skin assessments, minor procedures, cardiovascular medicine, diabetes management, men’s health and family planning. He is also interested in travel medicine and is accredited to give yellow fever vaccinations.

​

He has four children, three currently undertaking tertiary studies and the youngest finishing secondary school. He has recreational interests in long distance running and hiking.

Dr Yangyang Liu

Dr Yangyang completed his medical school at the University of Tasmania. He underwent postgraduate training in multiple hospitals in Tasmania and Victoria.

 

He developed a special interest in acupuncture. To further develop his acupuncture skills he completed general practice training and postgraduate medical acupuncture training for GPs provided by the Australian Medical Acupuncture College (AMAC). During the training, his scope of acupuncture practice extended to various clinically difficult conditions, including pregnancy-related headaches, eustachian tube dysfunction and cluster headaches.

Dr. Martin Williams

Martin graduated from the University of Melbourne back in the 90's, before gaining post-graduate experience and training in paediatrics, dermatology and skin cancer, general surgery, emergency medicine and internal medicine, along with twelve months in obstetrics and gynaecology. Prior to coming to PEMC, Martin consulted in large medical centres in Hampton and Elwood, teaching trainee specialist GPs and medical students. He also delivered over 500 babies at Sandringham Hospital, where he served as Head of GP Obstetrics.

 

Martin is our Practice Principal and offers all aspects of General Practice health care, with particular expertise in paediatrics, dermatology, women's health (including shared antenatal care, gynaecology and medical abortion), mental health, internal medicine, emergencies, trauma and minor surgery. He performs insertion of contraceptive implants and IUD's, dermoscopic mole checks/removals and skin cancer treatment, including melanoma.

Candice Wainstein 

CONSULTS Wednesdays.

Candice is a Clinical Psychologist with 14 years' experience. She has extensive experience working with challenging presentations such as addictions, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She draws on evidence-based therapies which include ACT, DBT, Schema therapy (third wave CBT) and mindfulness.

 

Candice works from an attachment framework, using the therapeutic relationship to help clients navigate their way through challenges and to guide them in developing a repertoire of adaptive coping mechanisms. She is passionate about increasing the awareness of mental health, enhancing psychological wellness and resourcing clients to improve support structures already in place or to create effective new ones.

Rodrigo Latorre

With nearly 20 years of dedicated experience in private practice, Rodrigo has had the honour of accompanying many individuals, both young and mature, on their unique journeys. His grounding in Clinical Psychology is firmly anchored in evidence-based methodologies. His collaboration with clients is about setting clear goals and working towards their proposed outcomes. Blending various therapeutic techniques, Rodrigo strives to tailor an approach that resonates with the unique needs of each client. Above all, cultivating a trusting and positive relationship with his clients is paramount, ensuring the therapeutic space feels both supportive and comfortable.

Phoebe Price (Exercise Physiologist)

CONSULTS TUESDAYS.

​

Phoebe is our visiting Exercise Physiologist. She has a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and is passionate about empowering people to nurture their own health through movement and lifestyle change. Using pilates, resistance training and an individualised exercise approach, Phoebe supports people in finding the tools to reach their health, fitness or wellbeing goals. Phoebe has experience working with chronic disease populations, disability, pain and people with musculoskeletal complaints.

Tiegan Sanky (Physiotherapist)

CONSULTS THURSDAYS.

Tiegan is our visiting Physiotherapist from Sum of Us Studio. She is from England and has a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, having recently moved to Australia to explore the profession overseas and extend her practise. Working in an acute hospital for most of her profession she has an extensive background of multiple specialties but has a particular interest in gerontology, orthopaedics, chest physiotherapy, balance and coordination.

Emina brings vast and varied nursing experience from some of Melbourne's major hospitals to general practice. Her expertise in wound management, immunisation, therapeutic ultrasound and complex care co-ordination combines with a lovely, caring manner. She also offers multilingual skills, being fluent in Greek, Albanian and Macedonian.

Jennifer Grant

Registered Nurse, Div 1

Jennie trained in New Zealand and has worked for the past 15 years at The Alfred and in General Practice. She has completed a postgraduate certificate In wound management through Monash University and a Diploma in health science at Torrens University. She has a keen interest in prevention, wound management and alternative health, and makes her own homemade skin products.

Michelle McIntyre

Michelle completed her Diploma of Practice Management in 2020 at Chisholm. She has over 10 years’ experience in medical administration, in various roles. She brings a friendly, calm and empathic demeanor to the role of PM. This, combined with her impressive skills and knowledge, are critical to the successful operation of our practice.
